I started with the idea of a herringbone top mid-century modern inspiration and let the process guide itself as one step was completed to the next. In total I spent over 120 hours building, shaping, designing, and crafting this piece. Made entirely from walnut & tigerwood you’ll find no screws or fasteners as this desk was made with traditional joinery. I’m confident there’s no other like it in the world
